Custom Design by Fish Techniques #3R Ball Bearing Swivel .022” Diameter Wire #3 Gold or Hammered Gold Willowleaf Spinner Blade Optional Bead Colors – (15) Selectable Colors #1 Mustad Slow Death Hook- Selectable Color : Bronze or Gold or Red Mix & Match colors in order (3) Per Pack This Walleye Slow Death Spinner Bait was developed and successfully tested on Little Bay De Noc, Escanaba, Michigan with superb success. These 1 st lure was made using Fluorocarbon Line, Willow Blades, Beads and hooks from my tackle box. Had a couple problems with the spinner blade spin consistency, and line breakage due to walleye teeth but has been resolved with wire. We were using a gold blade with Purple Faceted Beads and a Red Slow Death Hook with a Canadian Night Crawler on the hook. Starting out without Ball Bearing Swivel, I noticed a line twist. As soon as I added the ball bearing swivel the problem dramatically slowed down. These lures are one moving machine, they spin and wobble like nothing else in my tackle box, that’s why the ball bearing swivel to try to eliminate line twist. Using this lure in conjunction with my NO SNAG SINKERS on a QUICK-CHANGE WEIGHT SYSTEM SNAPS, with a 4’ Leader, I all but completely eliminated line twist (see the picture of my rig on this site) Your walleye fisherman needs to try out this system, I am sure you will like what you get!
